We would've spent whatever it took to get seats that my wife can sit in. The headrests in the passenger seat are brutal, fortunately they can be swapped with the 2nd row, which are not miserable.

I travel every 2 months on a road trip of 14 hours. The head rest is now crippling me and I need to determine what to do but will most likely change vehicle types next fall.

Odyssey LX

Drivers seat is designed in such a way that in the middle of the upright portion of the seat, it curves outward in a hump and puts pressure on the lower/middle spine. The seat portion is curved up on both edges of the seat which puts pressure on the legs, especially the right leg. The length of the seat is such that it falls right under the backside of my knee. The seats also seem hard. All these things together have caused lower back pain, numbness, tingling and pain in my right leg and hip and foot, and has contributed to back issues. The headrest also pushes the head forward too far. This is an ongoing problem since we purchased the car.

I LOVE HONDA CARS. THIS IS MY FIFTH HONDA, AND SECOND ODYSSEY, BUT I CAN NOT BELIEVE HOW UNCOMFORTABLE THE SEAT AND HEAD RESTRAINT SYSTEM IS, AND WHAT PRESSURE IT IS PLACING ON MY BACK, HIPS, NECK, AND LEGS. THE NECK REST PROTRUDES SO FAR FORWARD MY HEAD HAS NOWHERE TO GO. THIS FORCES MY BACK TO SIT FORWARD WITH NO SUPPORT BEHIND IT, AND THIS FORCES MY NECK, HIPS, AND LEGS TO HAVE AGONIZING PAIN. I AM ABOUT 5'4". THEN WHEN I TRY TO WALK, GET UP, MOVE I CAN BARELY DO SO. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY BACK PROBLEMS BEFORE. HELP!!!!
