Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Honda Odyssey 2010 grab bar caused toddler to break leg. Two year old was in her car seat behind the driver's seat. She put her foot on top of the grab bar behind the seat, her shoe (size 7 1/5) caught, she pulled and the force broke her leg. This happened in the time it took me to open the door and get into the car. I think that if the grab bar was shaped differently (thicker bar part and narrower hole ) that this would not have happened.

The sliding doors to our 2010 Honda Odyssey have failed to close. The problem is that the roller that they run on brakes and causes the door not to close. It will open but not close. This has happened to us three times and it was today towed to the dealer for the second time. The safety issue is that this can happen anyplace such as a stop on the shoulder of a major highway to switch drivers. When the door does not close the car will not allow the transmission to get out of park into gear. There we are stuck on a major highway and not able to move. If we get out of the car we can get hit by a car. It is a very dangerous situation and needs you immediate attention.
