Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

The consumer purchased a new vehicle with an aftermarket sunroof which was installed by an aftermarket shop. The dealership told the consumer that the sun roof was a legitimate option. He had been lied to and now the owner feels this the vehicle is unsafe because it leaks when it rains and when going through the car wash. The dealership will not take the vehicle off the road and the owner feels that he is not getting anywhere even after talking to the manufacturer. Provide further details.

The dealer had a sun roof installed as part of the purchase price. It has had multiple problems ranging from vibration noise at low speed to excessive wind noise and also electrical problems. Perhaps Honda should stop putting in sun roofs if the car isn't designed to accomadate one.
