They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owns a 2002 Hyundai Accent. While switching lanes between 35-40 mph, the contact rear ended another vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact's face slammed into the windshield. A police report was filed. No repairs have been made. The current and failure mileages were 30,000.

: the contact stated while driving 35 mph the vehicle hit another vehicle and the driver front air bag deployed. The air bag deflated so fast it caused the driver to hit the steering wheel. The driver sustained minor injuries and a police report was filed at the scene. The insurance company deemed the vehicle totaled. The dealer and manufacturer were not alerted. Updated 7/18/2006 -
