: the contact stated while driving 10 mph in a parking lot, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle restarted and was driven to the dealer who determined the ignition wire was arching, causing the engine to misfire and stall. The ignition wire was replaced.

Car continues to overheat. This is the fourth time it has happened; sometime the problem can not be duplicated and I am sent on my way even though it has happen before. The cylinder heads, water pump, thermostat, sensor and many others are only a few of the things that have been replaced on this problem. The car shuts-off without warning, and drives like a desiel engine (rough), you almost have to floor it to make the car stop and the dealer says it is normal; even though I hit another car going about 5mph because the car jerked foward and smashed my hood (I hit a Ford:excrussion so he had no damage) and the transmission does not shift correctly. Sure the dealer ship tries to fix the problem but there have been times I have been out of my car for a long as 7 to 8 weeks and many times there don't even know whats wrong. I have tried to contact rick case the dearlership owner and I never reiceve a call or email.

The car hesitates, when I press the breaks then gas, the car completely stopped. I was taking my children to day care several times the car stopped in the middle of the road after I stopped at the stop. Then proceeded. My 4 yrs old son noticed when the car stopped completely and I had to start it again in the middle of the road, I took it to the dealer and they had put some parts at the car but it kept doing the same thing after several of weeks, my nae used to be frances stevens when the car was bought. I dont remember when I bought it because I just moved and the papers are in boxes, I did send the papers that the dealer gave me to send to motor vehicle in Connecticut of the four times that the car was taking into repair and motor vehicles has not responded. Can you please help me I dont want to get killed in that car with me and my children. I will send a 2nd request to the department of motor vehicle in Connecticut so they can get this resolved.

Intermittently / but frequently, vehicle stalls, usually at a stop position and continually while traveling at a low speed of 25 mph or less. Vehicle has been in dealer shop on four occasions, and problem still occurring. Took vehicle back to dealer shop for fifth time. Consumer received recall 00V259001 and dealer replaced the mass air flow sensor even though vehicle had not experienced stalling, a little over a year later, vehicle began stalling and dealer replaced the air flow meter which did not correct the problem, dealer then replaced the throttle position sensor which also did not correct the problem, consumer traded in vehicle because stalling could not be fixed.
