Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

The contact stated when car had 20,000 miles on it started having electrical problems. The SRS light came on, and it was making a funny sound at 31,000 miles. She said different lights on the dashboard would come on, but she was not sure which ones. The car ran out of oil, and the consumer stated there was no light to come on to indicate the car was low on oil. The car had 118,000 miles on it at that time. The contact has to replace the engine.

While away on vaccation in Virginia, drivers seat belt sprung and tightened up on driver, air bag light went on on the dash. About 200 miles later upon starting the car while in process of putting on pax seat belt, it sprung and tightened up. Upon returning home, visited dealer for service. Told to make appt for following week and they put seat belts on order. Wnr in 8/3 for scheduled appt, they didn't have the belts and told they weren't ordered. Dealer then ordered air bage mode & belts. As of 8/13 still don't have and car warranty not honored, yet.
