After running the AC today and then tomorrow you get in the car after its sat all night there is a god nasty smell that comes through the vents. The smell lasts for about 5 minutes then starts to go away. We took it in and they said that we needed a new cabin filter and they would have to add some kind of drain hose to it. So we had all that done. All was fine for about a week and now the smell it coming back. We bought the car brand new and we did not have this problem last summer. Wife is thinking of getting rid of the car and going with Nissan.

Guess next week its time to take it in again and let them know that its doing it again. What a pain. cause they give you the look like your stupid or something. Grrr

When weather gets warm/hot and more humid, there is an awful smell that comes through the air vents into the car. This happens when The vents are on or off, when the a/c is running or just fresh air. It does not happen when the heat runs. This happened last summer too when the car had only about 8000 miles on it. I tried running the heat and spraying Lysol through the vents from the outside for at least 30 seconds on each side, and changing the filters. Nothing works. The smell is just awful, like my car is moldy. If anybody has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
