When it is cold outside and the heat is started, all the air comes out the front defrost and none out the footwell. Feet get cold. This is true even if the heat is set to the footwell only. It still comes out the front window defrost. I took this to my dealer twice and was told that it is normal. I took it to my salesperson who totally agreed with me and promised that it would be fixed. However, the dealer continued to insist

it was working properly and would not do anything.

I next contacted Hyundai in California and received a call from a woman in Illinois that said she would have her regional manager look at my car. However, I was told I must bring it to he dealer on a certain day and time and that he would look at it. explained that I am a physician and would not be able to get off work to bring it in for evaluation. I requested that someone come and pick up my car and take it to the dealer to be looked at, but I was told this was not possible. I then explained to her that I previously drove a Lexus 430 and that when there was any issue at all they would come pick up my car at my house and leave me a free loaner. There was no response on her end so I told her just forget about it, but that I will never buy a Hyundai or Genesis again and that I would never be able to recommend their cars because of his. All she said was that she was sorry I felt that way.

minimal air flow to the front floor

We just loved this car...very comfortable ride and handling, good features, plenty of power. Got the car in September and my wife and I commented about the amount of air the climate system produced from floor to defrost mode...you did not crank the fan to high. We got in the car one cold morning and quickly noticed that our feet were getting very cool. There was little to no air coming from the flood duct. I made every change I could select and still cold feet...even turned off the outside air and turned on re-circulate. I took my genesis in for 1st oil change this morning 2/23/2015 and they said they would check it...called me back late this afternoon and said that there was nothing wrong with the climate system, that it was a smart system and everything is working to. I told him that something was wrong as no one would manufacture a lux car that would keep your feet this uncomfortable.

Is this a common problem with the 2015 genesis?

Update from May 25, 2016: Driving my genesis shortly after this, the instrument panel went completely crazy. I pulled over and turned it off...after about 5 minutes I restarted it and everything seemed fine except that the mileage only showed to be 31 miles. We continued our running and went home. A couple of days later my wife was going to make a run to town and it would not start. I went to check it and it stated to push the start button with the key-fob. When I did this it completely shut down and then stated to call for service. I called the dealership only to be told that I had to call roadside assistance, and was given the number. To make a long story short, it was hauled to the dealership. I called the nest day to get an update and was told they were still trying to find out the problem, and they would call me back. They called and said that there was a shot in the instrument cluster and had ordered a replacement. After it arrived it had to be sent to CA to burn in the correct mileage. 1st place it was send sent it back as they could not to it...sent to another and had it burnt in. Took 3 weeks to get it fixed and a new battery installed...bad cell I was told. My wife had a long discussion with the dealership owner and he told her if she had any issues with the car except routine maintenance to CALL HIM DIRECTLY

My wife told me when she drove it home that the blower blew so much air that she had to turn the floor air off.
