The front end of the vehicle is unstable due to constant vibration which is felt in the front drivers seat and steering wheel. The vibration causes the tires on the front end to wear prematurely, which could lead to blowouts.

Hyundai is telling me the problem with tire tread wear is a problem with the tire manufacturer. The tire manufacturer is telling me the problem is with a design of the 2015 Genesis sedans suspension. Inside rear tire wear is extreme, and had I not complained about vibration and cabin sound, ultimately seeking professional help in seeing the wear at a tire company, we might have very easily lost our lives. Look at 2015 Hyundai Genesis blowouts / saudi arabia. Many, many posts on-line about this tire wear happening here in the U.S. our Michelin tires are warranted to 45 K miles, we were advised by our cars dealer (Hyundai of evansville) to replace and align the 4 wheels, at a large cost, this is at 22,914 miles ! raben tire, a Michelin dealer, here in evansville tells me the car may very well have a suspension-alignment problem. It will cost us over $1000 to be safe for a while with tire replacement and alignment. Hyundai will not even give us the satisfaction of a return call. It is a blatant case of 'david vs goliath' ! extreme cabin sound @ 45 to 50 mph, as well as seat and steering wheel vibration while in motion, up through highway speeds.

In 2016 I bought a 2015 Hyundai Genesis with Continental pro contact. This was a new car with 1,565 miles on it. In less than a year I notice the side wall on the front tire had a bulge in it. The dealer would not replace the tire for free but offered a discount on another tire. I took the car in today for service and they found a bulge in the side wall of the rear tire. The first tire only had 14,466 miles I'm currently at 21,711 miles. I'm going to replace them all but think they should be recalled. Oh and when checked the dot #,three of the tire did not have the four digit date. Only one had the whole number affe WC85 2115.

I took my car to dealer due to excessive noise in front of car when driving. I thought it was a wheel bearing noise. Deal, er says noise is due to tire wear. Car only has 40,700 miles and there was a recall at around 12,000 miles when Hyundai replaced all four tires with Michelin tires "due to complaints of excessive road noise". my car has been regularly serviced at Hyundai dealers. I told the dealer that it was impossible for Michelin tires to wear out in less than 28,000 miles. I believe the car has a suspension design problem. The dealer refused to do anything about it. I called the Hyundai factory line (dealer gave me phone number). Factory rep told me I would be contacted within a week by factory regional manager. I have not been contacted yet. I believe the car has a suspension geometry or design problem in the front end of car. No new car with less than 28,000 miles should wear out a set of tires unless something is wrong with the design or geometry. The fact that Hyundai recalled the car when new (only 12,000 miles) to replace the tires tells me they know something is wrong.

Today my wife was driving our Genesis and was almost in a accident because of campaign138 "cracks in the sidewall". I've been complaining for the past two months with 2 superiors and 1 case manager. There has not been any resolutions or since of Agency.

After 25,000 miles tire treads were separating on the inside edge of all four tires. These were original factory-installed hankook ventus noble S2 tires. Hyundai has a recall in place due to the possibility of vibration, but the recall makes no mention of safety issues or tire failure. The issue was found when dealer was rotating tires on normal schedule.

Earlier this year Hyundai issued a letter to Genesis owners stating they were replacing the hankook tires that came on the car from the factory with Michelin tires because customers had complained of raod noise. I contacted the delaership, West broad Hyundai, richmond, va, to order my replacement tires... I took my car to the dealership on Aug 29 for the state inspection and an oil change, they stated they did not have staff on hand on saturdays to change the tires. During the state inspection the mechanic discovered the tread on my left rear tire had separated from the tire. The right rear tire looked as if it was about to separate. Since my tires were in they dedicated a mechanic to replacing my tires..my car was purchased new, the tires have 25515 miles on them and the car has not been modified in any manner. I fear there is a major problem with this model tire and hankook should be made aware immediately. I have photographs of the tires. The tire looks perfect from the outside wall but the wall that faces under the car the defect is very noticeable....updated 09/28/15

My Genesis was involved in a tire recall (campaign 218). A couple days later, as soon as I got the car on the freeway to go out of town on a business trip, my car started shaking severely. I called blue link (Hyundai customer service) and they said to take it to patterson Hyundai at my destination. I drive to wichita falls as slowly and safel as I can and I took the car in today but they refused to fix it. They said because its related to the recall they cannot fix it. I have to wait minimum 3-5 days for them to escalate it to the national level and I can't drive my car. I have to be driving home on Sunday (2 days from now). I talked to curtis (floor leader for Genesis team) and said "I can't drive my car for 3-5 days?" and he said "yes." And I asked if I could get a rental then and he said they won't give me a rental. This is at best unethical. I have to be home by Monday, so they are forcing me to drive a potentially unsafe car home 3.5 hours because they won't correct a problem with their warranty work.

Simply put, my Hyundai Genesis is extremely susceptible to total and sudden tire failure. I have had the car for about 7 months and have had 6 tires blowout, even without hitting any potholes. The last time this happened, I had a tire side wall blowout as I left my driveway, driving at a slow speed. I had it changed the next morning and within hours, another tire blew while I was driving at about 60 mile per hour on the NJ garden state parkway, without hitting any road imperfections or potholes at all. It seems that the low profile tires are simply not up to simple, normal day to day driving. I am aware that many other Genesis and equus owners have suffered the same, many times over, yet Hyundai refuses to recognize the problem, blaming the tire manufacturers, even though this happened to me with 3 different brands and even to tires designed to run flat! I don't need to elaborate on the hazard created by tiers that blow out all the time especially when driving at highway speeds on congested roadways. I was lucky that I managed to avoid getting hit on the last incident by the hundred of cars passing by at over 60 miles per hour.
