Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

The lower control arm completely rusted through. Have pictures. Son driving car on our driveway and car started making noise and started pulling hard to the left. Drove back to house to inspect and lower control arm on drivers side had rusted apart allowing tire to be uncontrollable. Contacted Hyundai and they say there is no problem. Several instances of this same problem on the internet, with many involving crashes. This is a very serious issue and could cause serious injury or death if it happens at road speed. Lucky for us it was on our driveway.

Tiburon 4WD 6-cyl

Left front window inoperative. Wheel pulled to right on braking, resulting in accident. The dealer installed a new window motor. The dealer attempted to alleviate the vehicle's pulling problem by aligning the vehicle but that did not help. The dealer ordered heavy duty bolts hoping this wil correct the problem.
