The contact stated that when he attempted to open the drivers side door he could hear the latch sound, but the door would not unlock and when he attempted to use the door handle it broke. The passenger had to open the drivers side door from the outside. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The vehicle wasn't repaired. The manufacturer will be contacted. The failure and current mileages were 32,000.
2008 Hyundai entourage gls: Rear passenger door appears to open while vehicle is in transit. Door open indicator, alarms and lights go on to indicate opened door. Opening and closing door gets alarms to go off. Initial instance was confirmed by dealership to be caused by broken cable and cracked module.
