This Infiniti JX35 sun visor issue is very serious. We've been dealing with it for about 3 years, but now it has gotten so bad that we just took it off. The driver's side has been the worse but now the passenger side is getting bad. For parts and labor, it will cost approximately $300 for each. That is $600 just to fix what appears to be a problem that lots of folks are complaining about. This needs to be a recall ASAP!!

It is a dangerous problem that infiniti has a record of poor quality construction in the support system of their sun visors. They flop down randomly initially and eventually won't stay up at all. Have had it taped up but wouldn't stick and kept flopping down, hitting driver in the head. It is startling and could cause an accident. Can swivel it to the driver side window but it impedes vision out the side and there is no sun block in the windshield. Ordered a new one on ebay, will report back w/ how that works out.

Went to research this issue and it turns out this is a problem with not only the Infiniti SUV's but also the Nissan versions. Check it out on YouTube: https://youtu.be/-ojqzBHNu2E

Visor droop into driver's vision. Second complaint, same safety hazard.

Dealer claims to have replaced this visor but I now have my doubts.

The driver visor droops in the drivers line-of-sight.

The visor was replaced but the problem returned 11/12/2014.

There is no way to even tape this visor out of view as nothing sticks to the fabric.

This Item has now repeated itself.

The same happened to the passenger side.
