245/40/19 Dunlop Sp Sport 5000 DSST CTT Runflat Tires - Standard equipment!

The problem? They randomly decide to burst or split apart right where the tire meets the rim! It has got to be the lowest quality tire I've ever seen. Not only do they NOT hold up to REGULAR use, but the also develop flat spots practically overnight. The minute you start moving after the car has sat for a few hours, be prepared to experience a good 15-20 minutes of vibrating and shaking while the tire warms up. Never heard of or experienced anything like this!!

This tire retails for $540 at the dealer too which is INSANE! When my tire took a crap and Dunlop or Infiniti refused to cover it, I went on the hunt. Guess what? There are people who just bought brand new Q50's that cannot wait to get rid of these tires. Scored four tires from a guy that only put 17 miles on them for $400 and he was getting rid of them due to the issues he's had in the past with this particular tire.

So long story short, I have to keep extra tires in my attic so that when one of them splits again, I can have it swapped out. So far I've lost to tires due to the mystery split, both under 10k miles and both in the spring/spring months with optimal road conditions.

Went through 5 tires in 2 years. These tires cannot handle any potholes. I have 3 other cars in the house and none of the other cars have this issue. The roads are bad in Philadelphia but they are not bad enough to go through 5 tires.
