Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

The brakes seem to go out when applied over bumpy roadways. The problem seems to happen at many different speeds and this has happened numerous times. This has occurred with my wife driving as well as when I am driving. We have had the car checked at two separate brake "specialist" shops, and at a Honda dealer when we had the 100,000 mile tune-up and they said the brakes were fine. We have not had an accident yet, but the fact that so many other people have the same problem worries me and makes me think my wife should not be driving this vehicle.

2 days out of warranty a second ABS sensor failed on my car. I had just had a rear one replaced the week before. The dealership said oh well it is out of warranty now but we can look at it for you but that I would have to pay. I noticed that there have been several complaints for this. I am trying to contact the manufacturer to see if they will take care of this.

The anti-lock brake system does not operate properly. This was first looked into at the 7500 mile service with no problem found. The car now has 67000 miles with the problem still occuring. There has been one accident caused by problem with many close calls. The vehicle is very unsafe to drive. Without warning the brake pedal will kick back at the driver and the car will lose all braking power. The dealership says this is normal operation for the ABS. I've driven many cars with ABS, and they all stop when the ABS is engaged. This Rodeo loses all pressure and just glides forward. So far they have replaced a speed sensor and the wiring harness that goes to the rear of the car. Isuzu says they have made a new harness because the old one was too short and would break easily. But, there is no recall on it. The sensor and harness were replaced two weeks ago, but the problem still persists. Please help us with getting our vehicle fixed properly before there is a major accident caused by it.

I had all preventive maintenance and a lot of work done on brakes in the past few weeks at the dealership. Suddenly, a week and a half after the last repair, this problem comes from nowhere. Of course, it's an additional repair with additional costs. Something is not right. This care has been maintained and very well taken care of for the past 3 years.
