Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

I have a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo that was issued a recall for excessive corrosion on the rear lower link. This is not the only related problem. The rear section of the vehicle frame is rotting out as well. My Rodeo has 80,000 miles and has absolutely zero body rust, yet the frame is experiencing excessive frame rot. A conversation with Isuzu has lead nowhere. This could can be equally as dangerous because Isuzu's remedy for the recall is to install a larger bracket over the original bracket, which is to be attached to an already deteriorating vehicle frame.

Immense amount of frame rust that has basically made the vehicle useless way before the end of its useful life. Has eaten away at the critical parts of the frame that has made it very unsafe and unusable to me. Had to get a new car as a result and now waiting to see what is going to be done if anything about truck. Would like to see the the frame fixed and the manufacture take responsibility for these malfunctions before someone gets killed or seriously injured!
