2000 Isuzu Rodeo (purchsed as new) -breaks needed to be replaced within first 2 years. -oil needs to be added every month. Dealer could not find problem, said it was normal for Isuzu. Does not burn or leak. -stereo/6 cd changer needed to be replaced, broke. Dealer said it was faulty. -windsheild wipers broke - electrical switch faulty -car stalled 2 X without any warning. One while driving 40mph and the other at a stop light. Dealer said it was due to a bad egr valve ($450) -car pings constantly. Dealer first recommended to use high grade gas- then about a year later said to use low grade gas B/C the high grade gas might have caused the egr valve problem! -transmission mode control switch broke. Put in drive and dashboard said it was still in park, caused car to grind and buck forward. ($460) dealer said this is a common problem in izusu Rodeo's.
