When i turn the steering wheel, it makes a noise like steering knuckle is about to break or something. finally got it fixed. it was the Steering U-Joint. but had to get it at a junk yard cause auto parts did not carry them.

Rodeo LS 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 85,000 miles

Our Isuzu Rodeo was making loud clanking noises every time we turned the steering wheel all the way to either side when maneuvering out of parking spaces, garages, etc. (it wasn't the transmission, it was the steering) Our mechanic told us that the steering of our car was warped/bent or something, I don't remember what exactly, but he said that there was no way to fix it and he told us to never turn the steering wheel all the way to either side. He also said that the problem would only get worse until eventually we would have to buy a new car. I hate this car, we've had so many problems with it.
