The contact owns a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo. The gear indicator light on the instrument panel malfunctioned. While driving 15 mph and greater, the transmission jerked everytime the gears were shifted. The failure occurred during both acceleration and deceleration. The transmission change switch had a failed seal. The dealer replaced the transmission change switch. The failure mileage was 31,626 and current mileage was 32,126. Updated 3/4/08 updated 03/04/08
