Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

had too put 2quarts weekly, and if i traveled at least 50miles i had to put 4quarts in when i reached my destination and then 3-4 quarts more when i would return home,a real pain in the assssssss.....when i recognized the oil was leaking some place and i don't know where because it wasn't on the ground then i did a research on the trooper and found out this is a common problem with the trooper....took a shop and was told that the engine needed to be replaced ...not at my cost gave it right back to the previous owner ....oh and the oil light only came on once that's how i knew it was losing oil and this happened the 1st week i got it after that it never came on and i had to check it every other day not lady like at all....
