They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owns a 2004 Jaguar XJ8. After washing the headlights, the lamps developed a thick film. While driving at night he crashed into another vehicle because the headlights were poorly lit. He was in the process of taking the vehicle to the dealer to have the headlights cleaned with special chemicals. The Jaguar manufacturer was notified, but no assistance was provided. Here were no injuries. The failure mileage was 82,000.

The contact owns a 2004 Jaguar XK8. While driving 25-55 mph the headlights would flash on and then back off. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and one of the burners for the headlights was replaced. A month after the repairs the failure resurfaced. He was in the process of contacting the dealer. The current mileage was 101,000. The failure mileage was unknown. Updated 02/23/10. Updated 08/11/10
