CarComplaints.com Notes: There's no way around it, the Cherokee's transmission is junk. There's no other explanation for why a vehicle, usually with under 40,000 miles, would have so many complaints

Facts:
1. The driver and passenger seats are causing lower back pain the more it is driven
2. Stopped Driving the vehicle for several weeks to see if lower back improved - It has
3. Requesting advice from seat swappers to change out or modify existing seats
Problem/Comments:
I am in my mid-thirty's and have owned at least 10 vehicles through the years and never experienced lower back pain from driving a car/SUV. The pain wasn't apparent right away, it slowly increased the more I drove it over a couple of months. There is a protrusion in my lower back that now feels like a rock(s) poking into my back when I drive it or sit in the passenger seat. I do not use the lumbar and it is completely off when I drive. I tried using it to see if it would improve the pain, unfortunately, it only made it worse.
Test: To put my findings to the test, I chose to do my own study by not driving the vehicle to see if my back pain would improve. Over the past couple of weeks, my husband and I switched cars, I am driving his 2009 VW Jetta and he has been driving the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, and to no surprise, the pain is beginning to subside.
Conclusion: It is definitely the seats causing my lower back pain. As for my husband, he is 6'5" and has no issue with the seats, however he normally enjoys the feature of using lumbar in his seats. Being almost a foot shorter than my husband and I do not enjoy the feel of using the lumbar feature. He is fine with the seats, but I am not. I am petrified to get back in it.
Solutions?: There are many reason I do not want to trade my Jeep, so I would love some advice from seat swappers that may have some ideas. My husband and I are looking at other cars seats I have driven in without this issue, so we could swap those seats in place of the Jeep's seats, such as the Murano, ML320, Passat or Audi seats. I am open to your suggestions and comments. In advance, thank you for your time. :)
