CarComplaints.com Notes: There's no way around it, the Cherokee's transmission is junk. There's no other explanation for why a vehicle, usually with under 40,000 miles, would have so many complaints

So after a new transmission, water pump and a coue belts, my car now engages more when I'm stopped at a light and the AC is on. My foot will be on the break and RPM will be a little under 1. Another fan will kick on and my car slightly moves forward so that I have to press the brake harder to make sure I stay stopped. As soon as I take my foot off of the brake my car moves as if I'm slightly hitting the gas even though I'm not. It's almost the the fan kicking on is giving my car extra power to move forward. I have not brought my car in yet for this. Also would like to update that my car is also still shifting weird as it was in June 2014 before they did the update and replaced the transmission. I cannot wait to get rid of this car and I hope more people share their issues so people do not buy a Jeep. I am definitely voicing the issues I've had with my Jeep and the responses I get are jaw dropping looks.
