CarComplaints.com Notes: There's no way around it, the Cherokee's transmission is junk. There's no other explanation for why a vehicle, usually with under 40,000 miles, would have so many complaints

2014 JEEP CHEROKEE LIMITED is a LEMON CAR - born spring 2014, Detroit. All the problems described on this website and a new one now. While in TOW MODE per exact instructions, the transfer case indicates TOW MODE with a solid red light HOWEVER twice the transfer case reverted to "normal drive mode". Behind a 40' RV, it felt like a blowout of RV tire. Fortunately did not turn over the RV and j/Jeep by slowing gradually and steering onto freeway shoulder. TWICE this has happened after safe tow hundreds of miles...transfer case just "lets go" of gears for TOWING and goes back into driving mode. In the shop today to try to discover fix? Anyone else have ideas?
Update from May 23, 2016: I am having the EXACT same problems described by THOMAS P., Indian Land SC also with a 40' diesel RV towing the 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited. Does anyone have a SOLUTION?
