I took my Jeep Latitude in for a transmission computer update about a month before. To do this, they update thru the USB port or something like that. After I picked it up, the radio clock started losing time each day. Anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes. And the Jeep, while driving west would show me driving east.

I then received another re-call, this time for an air-bag issue. So I took in in on June 27th, a Saturday. They said they would update the software on the radio to fix the clock issue. After 2 hours (on a Saturday), They tell me that my radio no longer works because of something to do with the update that crashed it. This all before the 4th of July. I was told they would order a radio and they should have it in a couple of days. It is now 10 days later, and no radio.

It's bad enough that I have to drive to and from work everyday with no radio. (I can't tell you how many times I reach to turn it on). The ride up north sucked! And to top it off, I can't see my air settings, my hands free phone doesn't work, any settings I set thru the radio no longer work either. And I'm sure the 50 or more songs I have in 'My Favorites' are gone too.

The dealership now says that they have no idea when the radio will be coming in. They say it's an intergalactic problem. hmmm, I didn't know they sold Jeeps on Mars. So here I am without a radio. I tried listening to my I-phone, but that just isn't the same. I'm going to be heading on a 7 hour trip soon. Hopefully I have a radio by then, or I might just go insane!
