You should be able to hear your calipers touch your brakes when you slow down, or stop. I can hear it plain as day even with the radio on. I didn't really notice it on the test drive. It seems to be getting worse. Making a rubbing noise, its annoying. My 9 year old car doesn't even do this and a new one does? grr

Update from Feb 18, 2016: Still doing it after 9,000 miles. Dealer said it was normal to hear the caliper hitting the brake disk.

Update from Jan 12, 2017: Brakes is still making a rubbing noise even after 20,000 miles. Again this has been in several time and was told this is normal. Why it it normal to hear your brake pads when brakes are applied in a new vehicle?
