A $40K plus "trail-rated" vehicle should not be a dust and dirt collector - inside the doors. Every time we left the paved roads onto dirt or gravel roads the dirt and dust would accumulate in large quantities everywhere inside all five doors. (Note: not into the passenger cabin). Everywhere means in every nook and cranny around the doors from top to bottom and front to back. It takes almost one hour to clean out this dirt, and requires a vacuum, low-pressure water hose, brushes and damp cloths. All of this grit and grime cannot be good for the longevity of all of the moving parts on the door, not to mention the finish and the tracking of said grime into the passenger section if not promptly removed.
