Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

After an uneventful drive to a store, when I restarted the vehicle and attempted to pull out of the parking lot into moving traffic, the vehicle accelerated very sluggishly, like it was stuck in top gear or the engine wasn't able to be rev'ed up. Pushing accelerator to floor caused engine to rev up to approximately 3500 RPM only, and rate of acceleration did not improve. Tried shifting into neutral and back into drive. This did not restore the expected acceleration behavior. Tried to put transmission into manual shift mode by moving gear shift left or right, but gear indicator in instrument cluster showed that transmission did not switch into manual shift mode; it stayed in full-automatic mode. Pulled over and turned engine off, then restarted engine. Expected acceleration behavior restored after restarting engine.
