I called Jeep after receiving the recall notice about exploding gas tanks and death and they told me I should wait and keep driving the unsafe car until some unknown time in the future, when I was told the hick parts would be available. I know this is a lie because as I told the rep the local uhaul company does the after market installs for the jeep dealer on new cars and they have plenty available. The jeep rep then told me some other bs after I told her the parts are available that jeep needs to do some kind of other internal analysis before the hick can be installed.

My Dad and I were in a terrible accident on I81 South in Virginia that involved a big rig hitting our vehicle, as well as a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, at full speed.

We all unbelievably survived. The crash was over. Then I saw a small fire at the back bumper of the Jeep grow subsequently burning Heather Santor and Acoye’ Breckenridge, who survived the accident, to death.

Chrysler knows of at least 287 people burning to death in Jeeps, and counting. These people are dying by means most commonly known as the most excruciating form of death.

I’ve started a petition to get these Jeeps off the road but need your help to spread the word. Every signature counts. Thanks in advance for anything you can possibly do.

My story, the petition I created, and a string of news links covering my petition are here: https://change.org/dangerousjeeps

Warning: My story is disturbing; however, this is the very reason why we need to prevent my story from becoming your story.

Since the accident, I’ve worked extensively with Center for Auto Safety Executive Director Clarence Ditlow, Former Chrysler Safety Chairperson Paul V. Sheridan, and Lesli Foster, a Murrow, Associated Press and Emmy award-winning journalist. Some news coverage on these atrocities is here http://www.wusa9.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=244865
