Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Vehicle was taken to the dealer for regular maintenance. Owner was concerned that driver's seat was making noise, and results showed that frame on the seat broke and needed to be replaced, which could not provide proper safety if the vehicle were to be involved in an accident....

While driving at 30 mph, another vehicle skidded in the direction of the consumer's vehicle, when the consumer tried to avoid an collision, the consumer lost control of the vehicle and slid into a pole. Upon impact, the driver and rear seats failed without warning. As a result, all three occupants sustained back injuries.
