A D V E R T I S E M E N T S

This 2005 Jeep Cherokee was purchased brand new from gary barbara Jeep / Chrysler, upon driving the vehicle the dash lights, gauges, A/C (happens with heat as well) began going on and off then off while vehicle is still in motion, this happens at any speed including no turn signals or brake lights. This sometimes will regain normal operation but most times the vehicle has to be pulled over and shut off then restarted. The vehicle was taken into the purchased dealership and issue was not resolved "saying could not find anything wrong" then as this has continued to happen was taken to multiple dealerships with same issue and same response. This went on the whole time the vehicle was under warranty, and the issue was never resolved. I continued to contact Chrysler over the years and no one would respond, at one point a Chrysler representative told me to go pound sand since the vehicle was no longer under warranty after me calling to follow-up on another (one of many) detailed letter regarding this issue. This continues to happen and obviously the vehicle is not safe, I refuse to resell the auto and want it fixed. I recently received a recall notice this year - 2015 for the ignition switch, I am not implying this is the repair fix for the issue but re-opened my quest to get Chrysler to properly repair this issue. I was told by both cherry hill Jeep/Chrysler and Chrysler direct case #[xxx] the parts for this recall are unavailable, a date or time frame for them is unknown and if I wanted would have to pay a $98 fee to get the auto diagnosed to address the issue of the powerloss during operation of auto. This has continued my belief that Chrysler really does not care about its customers or its products nor the safety of their automobiles. Respectfully, [xxx] [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).'

Dash lights flicker and vehicle routinely and randomly will not start. We have been stranded at least 2 dozen times. 2 dealers and an independent mechanic could not locate the problem. Battery, starter, starter relay and key fob's replaced. Vehicle was taken to dealer in Nov 2014 and now on May 11, 2015 ignition switch recall still has not been performed due to lack of parts.

I was driving at about 50mph at night when all electrical cut off including my headlights I was traveling in the darkness at that speed hardly able to see thanks to a car behind me and pulled off the road. Jeep has been stalling way too much as well as cranking for 3 seconds and running and then cutting off instantly the only way I can fix these problems is unhook battery every time and within maybe minutes it may occur again.....this is all directly connected with the P41 recall ignition switch issues on these Jeep that I was sent notice almost a year ago. What's the hold up on these parts!" let's get moving....this is my only vehicle and I no longer feel safe driving or feel reliable about getting from point a to B. I've spent so much money on this vehicle so far because of these type issues. Here is a link to one of the problems occuring with my Jeep. Pay close attention, this could get someone killed! https://www.youtube.com/watch"V=0kagjcoj0ue
