The contact owns a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The contact suspects failure in her vehicle's universal joints. When she drives the vehicle, it makes a loud noise and shakes. When she shifts from reverse to drive, the noise stops. The mechanic confirmed that the failure was the universal joints. The part for the repair is unavailable because it is a newer model vehicle and the driveshaft would have to be replaced. The current mileage is 42,963 and failure mileage was 22,500.
