I'm logging this complaint, with the start date of 1/4/16 (note I purchased the vehicle on 12/12/15, with 12 miles on it) but today is 3/1/16 it STILL isn't fixed! The module has been replaced twice now and the technicians at the dealer say the vehicle tests ok but the seats still won't heat up. This is a different dealer than where I purchased it, and when I brought it to this new dealer to be serviced, and they pulled up the VIN number, they said a module had already been replaced by the dealer I purchased from when the vehicle only had 12 miles on it. I'm tired and frustrated of having this caliber of problem with a brand new vehicle and not sure where to go next. I don't see any active recalls on the issue, but I don't have a vehicle to drive, and have already taken almost a full day of work off in getting my vehicle to/from the dealership before service closes, etc.
I come from a long time Chrysler family and his is the third new Chrysler product I have had in six or seven years.
The heated seats in my new Jeep take forever to get warm. The seats are heated and ventilated and not set to get at hot as non ventilated seats. The relative temperature once warm is not an issue, the time it takes for the seats to heat up is the issue.
They take up to an hour to heat up and usually after multiple times of turning them on and off. Once they do heat up they are great. Since the heating element does work eventually, I suspect there is a software issue that is the culprit.

Heated seats in the 2015 model Grand Cherokees do not get hot enough, and take 10-15 minutes before one is even able to tell that they are on. My 2014 GC Limited seats were great. I'm guessing that FCA lowered the temperature on the 2015 models. This problem is widely reported on various Grand Cherokee Forums.
Heated seats only get slightly warm on high. Seems to be a common issue with the High Altitude models. A Google search will show many owners of the HAs that have this issue. Seems Jeep does not have a fix for the issue and consider it normal. Very disappointing for such an expensive vehicle.
