My jeep has started experiencing rough driving and the gears slipping. I took it for service and they told me all the issues wrong were under a recall. (NHTSA 23-E-019) equipment safety recall 21A. He indicated: uplift timing, torque converter engagement, shift points, calibration issues, downshifts and other things. I called my local dealer and gave them my vin but they stated my vehicle has not been recalled and they won't fix it. The big concern is the slipping gears. It lungs forward at times and I am scared it is going to cause an accident. It is very rough to drive. The service 4 wheel drive system light came on. It started 4/27/23. It is very bad when turning the vehicle and driving slow.

The front suspension makes a creaking noise when it gets cold outside and gets worse the colder it gets. It was like that when I bought it from the dealership, but they would not let me test drive the vehicle on the road. They also had to replace the radiator. With the suspension acting up, it was knocking the front end out of alignment, so the dealership did an alignment for me. 3 months later the creaking noise is getting worse and my front end is out of alignment again. The dealership refuses to do anything about it. I am afraid my suspension is going to fail and I am going to wreck my Jeep going down the highway.

A warning flashed temporarily on the dashboard while I was driving on a normal paved road indicating a suspension problem needs to be addressed. When I parked the vehicle, I noticed the air ride suspension was completely inflated on the vehicle which made it appear lifted high above the tires. This had never happened before. Nothing prior to this point made me think there was a pending problem with the suspension.. I brought the vehicle to a legitimate Jeep dealership trusting in their trained technicians. They had the vehicle for 21 days, each day telling me they did not understand what was wrong. The dealership even had to consult with corporate engineers to ultimately fix the problem. The cost to me was $1525

Driving over imperfections in the road causes the steering wheel to shake. The faster we travel the faster & more severe the shaking. I have had the vehicle checked by numerous shops & all steering & suspension components are in good condition.

Power steering rack loses fluid between the rack and the boot. The rack has been replaced twice for the same issue and now needs a 3rd replacement rack. Loss of power steering fluid can lead to loss of steering ability and poses a safety risk.

I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited that has faulty struts and stabilizer bar. The vehicle is only 4 years old. This poses major safety concerns as it can cause a reduction in the ability to stop in a safe distance as well as the potential for a loss of control over the vehicle. Struts cause a rattling sound and reduction of control while driving. Stabilizer bar makes a creaking noise while vehicle is in motion or at a stop.

It's been since May 2018 with in/out visits to the dealership for a constant problem. My steering wheel wobbles over 70mph on my 2015 Grand Cherokee WK2 high altitude, all standard features. This started after 26K miles and now I have 39K miles. I've researched dozens of forums and read through tsbs with no solution. I had the dealer replace the tires, twice, with Michelin premier ltx 20inch tires, several road force tests, high speed balances, several alignments, rack and pinion replaced, front wheel bearing assemblies replaced, all new shocks and after alllllllllll of that, she still wobbles!!!!!!! the dealer has thrown their hands up and will not help me any further. The steering wheel only wobbles between 70-80mph. Another customer's wheels were placed on my car and tested with same issue. Privately owned alignment centers also confirmed a spot on alignment and wheel balance. All bushings appear to be intact. The Jeep is not safe to drive on the highway.

The front suspension on the summit is an adjustable air bag system. When set to level two there is a loud banging sound when traversing even the smallest bumps such as a speed bump or a bumpy gravel road construction exit to parking. Country to what the dealer says, excessive speed is not involved. If fact the system level auto lowers above 20 mph. This happens at one to five mph. It sounds like a sledge happen, literally metal to metal. This is not good. Dealer says" it's normal". I went on the Jeep forum and two responses to my post are that this does not happen to on their vehicles. Jeep garage forum has a few saying otherwise. Below is one of those posts that I trust is correct. I've had mine to two dealers three times. The first time they changed the right front shock assembly. The second two times it's now "normal". lyle S. 10-09-2015 Jeep garage forum "you should take it to the dealer'they won't do anything and tell you it's normal, but it's not. The noise you hear is the shock limiting out internally, not the airbag rebounding. It creates a 'hammer' that will cause premature mechanical and electrical problems as well as body rattles. It will definitely crack or break shock and frame mounts if you use that mode very much. At about 10,000 miles it can cause the suspension cross arm bolts to loosen and allow the front end out of alignment. This could have resulted in a deadly crash. Their solution was to grease the unit bolts so the impact would not cause the attach bolts to loosen as easily. This is a terrible design that Jeep is aware of and expects us to accept. Had they demonstrated this flaw at the point of sale, I would have purchased something else. Hopefully, if enough people express strong dissatisfaction they will design a fix."

Right rear shock absorber completely ineffective at controlling rear axle hop. Rear of Jeep would start to rotate sideways on bumpy roads. But vehicle new in March 2015. Called and asked salesman if you'd heard any problems none reported. Call and ask service manager if you've heard of any problems none reported. Finally took vehicle in and took mechanic for test drive and they said the rear shock was leaking oil and they replaced it. This handling occurred from the day I pick the vehicle up. I was worried to go into winter fearing the vehicle would lose control and spun sideways.

I returned this Jeep twice to dealer letting know that the transmission had a hard bang between shifting, they continue to say that this normal.the service manager says it because of the electronic system, I told them that I have driving for over forty years and have heard of such thing and this sounds more like a torque converter issue not a computer, needless to say they continue to say nothing is wrong. I am in the process of scheduling another appointment because it continues to get worse.
