When moving the gear shift to drive position it returns to park position automatically. or when I left the auto with the ignition on & gear in park position, when I turn back to continue driving , and I put the gear shift to drive position the gear shift jumps automatically to park position and I can't start moving the car. to do so I have to turn the ignition to off position and then turn it on & settle the gear shift to drive position for the car to respond.

I took the car to the dealer service Department, as soon as I knew by car complaints there was a recall for this issue, & they explained they will codified the computer command as the company requests, but the problem's still the same.THE GEAR SHIFT IS A REALLY A BIG PROBLEM FOR THE CUSTOMERS WHO BOUGHT THIS CARS.

car shifts into reverse instead of drive

Vehicle started giving us this problem upon day 2 of leasing. It is an ongoing issue. You just have to expect that the car will not shift into what you want. Almost got into an accident multiple times due to the car not going into drive or park and going into reverse instead. You have to be very cautious with this ticking time bomb.
