Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Liberty Limited 3.7L

4x4 went out. Mechanic said it'll cost $2,000 to repair. Not worth it; I'll just not drive it when it's snowing.

The 2002 Jeep has to be the biggest piece of crap ever made...just ahead of my 1998 Durango. Since I bought the Jeep new I have replaced: Air conditioning, air conditioning condenser coil, radiator, full brake job (twice), ball joints (twice), the front 4 wheel drive train (this will be twice), the fan and the resistor. And go along with it, I currently have no interior lights, no radio, no power locks (unless the car is running). If you are even remotely thinking of buying a 2002 Jeep......RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THAT POSSESSED PIECE OF CRAP!
