Back in March, I received a recall notice from daimler Chrysler regarding the lower ball joints in my Jeep. Steering can fail causing a crash. I called my local dealer and was told I was 80th on their waiting list. I called in may and was told they would get to me sometime in July!! today is August 1 and my recall is still not fixed. They blame the Jeep Corp for not providing enough parts to fix all the problems.

I received a recall notice for my 2003 Jeep Liberty (safety recall F23) late last year and called the nearest dealer in flemington in December 2006 to schedule an appointment to have it repaired. They advised that there was a waiting list as they only received a few kits per week and that they would call when they could schedule an appointment for me. It is now May 20th and still no phone call. Although the defect from the recall notice seem serious, I suppose it must not be since it's almost 6 months later and they still have not called. I will be calling the flemington Jeep dealer again this week to check the status and if they cannot help, I will call another dealer to see if this is something they will be able to address.
