My windows will not roll up and down. If I roll them down they will not come back up. My air conditioning went out and I had to drive, 45 minutes, home in 105 degree heat with no recourse. I could have passed out! there was a recall on the windows parts but I bought my Jeep used and the recall ended before I purchased it. If Chrysler diamler knows that there is an issue there should be no end date to the recall. Every vehicle should be repaired. What if I had a baby or child with me?

The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that the windows failed to roll up and roll down as designed. The contact had the front driver's side window replaced at youngblood auto group (3410 S campbell ave, springfield, mo 65807, (417) 882-3838) however, the failure persisted. The front and rear passenger's side windows also experienced the same failure. The contact used an object to keep windows in the upright position. The front driver's side window was deactivated. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The contact was informed that the VIN was not under recall. The approximate failure mileage was 40,000.

Since the day I got the vehicle I have had nothing but problems it shut off while driving the steering wheel would lock up and all lights on dash would light up. Turn the key off wait a minute and it would start back up. Ground wire issue, the driver window stopped working 2X electrical problem. The power side mirror doesnt work it. While driving switches between 2 and 4 wheel drive on its own. The 4 wheel drive doesnt work. Transfer case, linkage cable broken. The part time light stay flashing or lite up on the dash the drive shalf broke and lower ball joint broke while driving. While driving the loss of traction lights up the dash. The radiator fan stopped working, water pump broken. The ac compressor and clutch went out while driving. If I leave the climate knobs turn on while vehicle not in use it drains the battery, ( the form wouldn't allow me to click any more boxes) I've had it towed, I believe this was a lemon and shouldn't of even been sold

I was driving down the road when there was a bad pop sound loud sound I didn't know if I had been hit by somebody throwing something or if I'd actually been shot at and then the window slams down it just literally disappears I wasn't for sure if it was shattered with glass flying everywhere so I had to pull into the turning lane. It all happened so fast very fast this is my 16 year old daughter's car had she been driving I feel like we would have been talkin about different circumstances because I barely kept control of the car to pull it to the center lane. Not to mention both of the back windows will not roll up or down there now taped we have owned this car may be 3 months at most. I just went to the reviews and you can literally read for hours on the windows in the 2007 and a few other year models in the Jeep Liberty in a couple other models where their windows literally do this a lot I called Jeep to see how much it would cost to fix their wanting outrageous some of money knowing there's an issue. I was so upset I call Jeep customer service today this happened because I could only imagine my daughter being behind the wheel of that stupid Jeep and I was very emotional like I said I barely myself controlled the Jeep well enough to get it off the road this shouldn't be happening I asked him does it take someone to die to get things recalled because like I said you can literally read online reviews about the Liberty 2007 for hours about this issue and these don't happen just want some people that actually replace their windows motors and all this other rigmor or numerous times I guess I should have read the reviews online before I got it for my daughter because I definitely wouldn't have got it. Please help

This is the 3rd window lift plate on our Jeep that we have had to get repaired. They want to charge me $550 to replace this one also. This problem makes us not want to open any of our windows, which is a manufacturing defect which should be under a recall. The track is plastic and it breaks a lot. I've heard many complaints from unsatisfied Jeep owners with the same problem. We were parked and my wife tried to open the window and it snapped and the power window wouldn't roll back back up and we were stuck with the window half way up and it was 5 degrees outside...not fun !!!!

The contact owns a 2007 Jeep Liberty. The contact stated that there was an internal failure with the wire being pinched concerning a wire with the oxygen sensor. The vehicle was inspected by an independent mechanic who indicated that the pinched wire was the failure however, there was no specification of what part needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not inspected and diagnosed by a dealer yet. The vehicle was excluded from NHTSA campaign number: 06V036000 (electrical system) however, the vehicle exhibited the same failure related to the recall campaign. The vehicle was not repaired yet. The approximate failure mileage was 136,000.

Third brake light rust, due to poor seal and design. Cost hundreds of dollars in repairs, which is silent until the light falls out and damage is beyond a simple repair. I was alerted to this by the auto body shop, that told me it was common in Jeep Liberty, and did my research. We are the only owners, and it has good service records. Spend half of it's time parked in a garage, why is this a issue. Why are many Jeep owners having this issue. Jeep is being repaired light fell out, therefore making it unsafe to drive. I will have a bill for repair at completion. My husband was leaving our driveway when the light was noticed hanging, before it could fall out in traffic.

Engine light stays on all the time. Also ABS, traction, eps lights flash on intermittently following a warning sound. This panel issue can occur upon starting the vehicle or while driving on both interstate and on city roads. Have brought it to my mechanic three times now. My mechanic has plugged the unit into the diagnostic sysrem to check error codes and it registered five random error codes simultaneously which he felt were unrelated to the iissue, nor was it possible to have those five related codes all at once. He suspected that it was a panel malfunction and wondered if a recall had been issued that he was unaware of. But he went through the process of checking connection and cleaning connections anyway. He suggested to bring it back to a Jeep manufacturer for further evaluation if it recurred again, which it did! from the complaints listed, it sounds like Jeep does know either but they continue to charge consumers for repairs that have not solved the problem. Obviously driving the vehicle is not safe per customers complaints either. Perhaps someone is waiting for a tragedy before any type of recall is considered which is sad.

Window regulators. Windows fall into the door and will not come back up. Vehicle was stationary this time. Repeated occurrences. I am told by the dealer that the time frame is up for the recall; however, I had this fixed during the recall period and it is broken again.

I was awakened by police stating that my horn had been sounding for approximately 30 minutes. I discovered that the driver's side floor compartment and fuse box were soaking wet. I took the car to the dealer who stated water was leaking into the car because the sunroof had a significant gap in the L/R sunroof glass; gap was not caused by damage. The gap was not repairable; the fix was to tape off the outside of the sunroof. This still leaves the possibility that waster can get into the inner fuse box and possibly cause a short or a fire.

Since I'm limited to word use I'll try to keep it short loss of power to turns off and doesn't want to restart, cruise control, mirrors, half of fuse box, windows off and on, ignition starts on it's own when in the start position, traction light now comes on, electronic throttle control light has come on, part time light stays on when in 2 wd. I can feel how it's trying to switch back and forth. This vehicle is becoming a lemon. I've changed the fuel pump, crank and cam sensors and also changed switches in the steering column. In which none of fixed the problems. After talking to the dealership I was told the wiring harness needs to be changed but that part is discontinued.... the vehicle isn't 10 years or older and after researching these issues there are many many Liberty owners with these same issues. How can we fix our vehicles if this part isn't available to us or the dealership"?" Jeep has known about this problem all alone but doesn't want to have to do a recall on every since Jeep to fix this issue but I will not buy another Jeep unless they fix the issue.. I love the vehicle other than the problems I'm having. This happens at any given time without notice and is becoming worst. If I lose power and I'm driving this could cause an accident with lots of injuries if not death. Please make Jeep fix our vehicles. I can't afford to buy a new vehicle. This body is in great shape

I was driving on the interstate and several warning lights appeared on the dash board. I took the vehicle to the local repair shop and found out that the airbag clockspring was no longer operational. In addition, the anti lock brake feature, cruise control, and airbag are no longer operational. I have been looking for this part for quite some time and it is not available in most cases. The original cost for the clockspring ranged from $80 to $130 depending on the dealer. I have been able to find one clockspring and the dealer wanted $650 for the part plus installation, and he only had one available.

With key in on position it tries and will crank by itself. Also not getting power to some of the fuse box and the part time light stays on when in 2wd. When asked Jeep dealer I was told they never hear of this and when researching the problem there were tons of people with the same problem and no result of what to do. All issues they just want to charge thousands of dollars to fix.

The windows in the car have suddenly fallen several times since the car was purchased in 2007. The first time (2007)the car was under warranty and the problem was addressed. Another window regulator was replace under the extended warranty period. Since the warranty ended, the windows have fallen several times. Once I paid for the repair since the extended warranty had ended, but right rear window fell in 2015(had been repaired the first time in 2007) and the right front fell today(2016). The windows fell while driving both on highways and city streets which is a major distraction while driving. The window fell today while driving 10 mph and making a left hand turn. The window regulators were faulty when the vehicle was built and the components used to repair them have the same issues.
