After driving several minutes on a city street, multiple dash light come on, ABS, traction control, esp, and bas. This happens once a week. This problem seems to occur on days above 75 degrees. From the research I have done. I believe its the steering angle sensor / clock sensor. This appears to be a common problem as it was easy to find the information on utube.

This car has eletrical issues, while driving, the horn started going off on his own. I never use my horn, and can count on 1 hand how many times I used it. The repair cost me over $800. I also had to replace the motor for the rear door, I never use the hatch, and I had to replace. My car is now currently being repair for another electrical issue. The passager door is closed, however the door ajar light is on causing my interior light not to stay on. The passenger door is completely closed- due to this electrical issue my lights will not shut off and will kill the battery. I have also experience both windows decided to open and close while driving on their own. This car is an electrical disaster. I do not drive long distance, just local. Its a 2010 and I have 75, 000 miles on it.

I brought a Jeep Liberty wanting to try something new. I have been experiencing hell with this vehicle. I have only had it about 2 weeks took it to the dealer no one knows what's wrong because no lights stay on. I've taken it to aamco thinking they could tell me. They saw no problem. When driving this car for more than a hour the throttle light comes on the check engine light esp and it starts to shake like it will turn off. The lights always leave so the next day I have no proof. I have always had trucks and SUVS I will never buy another Jeep heating is also terrible. Changed heater core alternater radiator check transmission. Every now I'm drive this car blind not knowing what to expect because it has too many mystery's that shops don't know about this is the worst christmas gift I brought for myself

June 2 2015 approximately 54000 miles on vehicle purchased with 17,000 from Jeep dealership. Engine seized with out warning while in motion on way home from work. No smoke and no lights on dash to forewarn me. No coolant ever leaked on garage floor or anywhere at all. Repair cost 4,000 and nothing covered by Chrysler. Heater core replaced twice engine rebuilt and after repairs water pump was leaking. Had that replaced for free. Once agin having issues.

The display light for the "gate" comes on, even though the gate is closed. The interior lights come on as well. If my car is locked, the alarm will sound. Apparently there is some issue with the censor in the latch. This is happening to a lot of 2010 Jeep Liberty's. when I was driving the gate light came on, along with the interior lights, however, the gate was closed. First time it happened - my vehicle was parked/shut off; second time it happened - I was driving me vehicle.

Jeep Liberty sport 2010, every time I drive my car up hill slips or looses power in the wheels very easily when it encounters few gravel or crushed stones and small wet areas. It is a very scary experience, to help my car to go up hill more easily I drive the car extremely slow, it does help but I wish I could drive it up hill a little bit faster, the normal way.

I started my 2010 Jeep Liberty and it started revving up on its own, my foot was not on gas and it just kept revving up. I put it in drive with my foot on the brake and it took off on its own while both my feet were on the break. I put it in neutral and turned it off for a few minutes. When I restarted it, it continued to rev up on its own.

Started vehicle and drove about 1/4 of a mile. The vehicle completely shut down and I had to manually steer it to the side of the road. Car would not start and power to everything was lost. Could not jump start even though battery was fully charged. Turned out to be faulty tipm. Vehicle only has 36,000 miles on it!

Over 2 weeks ago, I was coming home with my 2 year old, and as we came off the highway, the battery light came on, then a bunch of other random lights on the dash popped on and beeped at me. I heard the car die right as I coasted into a gas station. Tried to jump with 3 different cables and it wouldn't jump. Next day, replaced the battery and it started up fine. Drove to work (about 5 miles) and the battery light came on again as I came across a hill. More dash lights came on and it died again. Had a mechanic replace the alternator, and then we had to get a 2nd new battery because I killed the first one. Later that day I drove it around, and after about 5-10 minutes of driving, as I was coming up a hill, the battery light came on. Turned around and came home. Next day I drove about 10 minutes across town and back and the light came on again, but it made it. I thought maybe the battery was just trying to get charged up, so I drove on the highway for about an hour and it was fine. When I came off the highway, all the dash lights started coming on and dinging at me... and then it died again in a parking lot. Would jump at first but RPM meter would jump up and down and then die. Eventually it wouldn't jump at all. Replaced the alternator again. Jumped the vehicle, let it sit running for about 10 minutes. Revved the engine and it died. Won't start. Won't even click. Called Jeep and they thought it was a bad PCM. Mechanic rented a special tool to test it. The PCM is fine, but the tipm module is bad. Now all my other weird issues are making sense: Radio dials sometimes don't work, sometimes it stalls in the cold at randomly. And the air flap actuators stopped working, meaning that no air/heat blows out the top vents. And then it dying on me randomly, with no other warnings that things were going wrong.

It was light to medium rain while stopped at a red light where traffic took off and had to stop soon after. As soon as I hit my brakes the ABS kicked in increasing the stopping distance of my Jeep causing me to rear end another vehicle. At the same time the ABS brake light, traction control brake light and stability control lights all came on at the same time and remained lit. I called the dealership the next day and was told this wasn't a serious problem and to bring it on Monday (I called Friday morning). The first time the dealer corrected the problem by replacing the brake switch and the tail light lamp switch. As I was leaving the dealership, less than a mile away, all of the lights came back on. They corrected it again, so I picked it up and it happened again two days later. In the mean time whenever it is a medium rain or above or it has been raining for an extended period of time the ABS brakes prematurely activate. The Jeep was inspected by Chrysler engineers who state it does not have any problems, and will not fix the damage to the vehicle.
