Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

2011 Jeep Patriot dies randomly. It dies going down the freeway at 70 or it can die going down the drive way. I bought the vehicle new and put approximately 400 miles on it and it died seven times. It has been in the dealership shop for six weeks tomorrow. They have had it die on them numerous times and have not ever told me it would be fixed. They said it was a software issues. It will qualify for the Missouri lemon law. I am concerned that there are other Patriots out there that will die. It is very dangerous as you lose power steering and brakes.
