Door alignment issue at 37,000 miles... not a good sign. This was covered under warranty, but just one of many trips to the dealer to fix issues with this P.O.S. 2014 Jeep Patriot.

Avoid buying a Jeep, like the plague.

I bought this 2014 Jeep Patriot new, as a left over. I've had nothing but problems with it since day one. I have taken the Jeep in for multiple repairs. My driver side doors are out of alignment, which is the major safety issue. I want it fixed, but Chrysler keeps yanking me a long saying; oh we are looking into how to fix it for you. This has been since March and it is now May.

The driver door does not shut properly all the way which is a safety issue and the driver passenger door is sunken into the car. The passenger side of my Jeep is perfectly aligned with the body. I also went to multiple Jeep dealerships and looked at the Patriots and to my surprise not one of the Patriots doors were out of alignment.

I took the Jeep back to the dealership I bought it from and they said they fixed the alignment so I thanked them and drove off the lot. It wasn't until I got on to the freeway when I looked in my side mirror and what did I see the doors were exactly same way as when I brought it in to them, after they told me that their master mechanic fixed the doors. I also told them why they were looking at it that the other dealership I took it to said there is no way to adjust the doors. So I don't know if the Jeep was in an accident on the dealers lot or if it was damaged when delivered to the dealership. So now I have to take it back again to let their so called master mechanic to attempt to fix it.

I will never buy a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram product again..
