Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

I need your help. I sent to the owner of the freedom Jeep dealership but, to date, I have not received a response. I took the car to the sales manager for the second time on the 29th of July. Yesterday, I received a call from him stating there is nothing wrong with the car! I know the fumes from the car made my daughter and I ill and I know that they added 2K to the sale of the car when they did the contract. I need help. Please advise. [xxx] ps I would have attached a copy of the letter, but it is rather long and could not fit this space. I can send it to you via email attachment if you want. Information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

Was traveling on the highway at approximately 45 mph, glanced at the passenger side mirror and noticed grey smoke coming from the back of the vehicle within a few seconds the "check engine" light came on. I stopped at a traffic light before a safe pull over spot was available. Once light changed to green, vehicle would barley move even with increased throttle pressure. Got the vehicle to a safe spot off the highway. Noticed a lot of transmission fluid flowing from under the vehicle. Had to have vehicle towed to dealer.
