Contact states the driver side seat belt works part of the time, other times it won?T pulled out far enough to latch. The service dealer stated the entire unit of the seat belt needed to be replaced. Seat belt will not retract, vehicle has been taken to several different shops to be fixed and found out that seat belts had been redisgned but not recalled.consumer believes that since there was a redesign in the seat belts then it must have been a safety problem

When Jeep is stopped at side angle on hill, seatbelt is inoperative after getting back into vehicle. I had to drive down steep hill twice with no seatbelt on. Simple momentary bypass button to center pendulum would allow fastening seatbelt when vehicle is at an angle.
