2003 Jeep Wrangler rubicon protective shield for transfer case allows dry weeds to accumulate between shield and front driveshaft, causing friction fires to occur at highway speeds with out any warning, resulting in wiring harness damage, brake line failure and gas line exposure to open flame.

Paint chipping and coming off, 2003, Jeep, Wrangler, 4200 miles, no mud ridding or ruff treatment. Only city and hiway driving. Vehicle appears to have been painted gray (not primer) and top coated with an extremely thin color paint. Patriot blue. Almost no paint inside of tub and under body.
