This is the third time for my 2005 Wrangler to blow the blower resistor. This is what gives you multiple speeds of the fan. I finally made a variable speed control; to run the fan and have had no problems since.

Wrangler Sport 4.0L 6 cyl

  • Manual transmission
  • 31,000 miles

Yet, another problem with my Jeep! I previously owned a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0 6 cyl. and purchased my current Jeep for an upgrade/color change. What a mistake! My '98 Jeep was wonderful and never gave me any problems! Within three years of ownership, my new Jeep had developed a variety of problems, including a fan blower motor that only operates on high!!! Yet another expense I don't need to absorb, but must.

I love all that being a Jeep owner/driver entails, except the slew of problems my 2005 has developed! I once thought I would always own/drive a Jeep, but I am now rethinking my resolve.

Please add this complaint to the slew of other complaints these POS vehicles have accrued!
