The contact owns a 2010 Jeep Wrangler. While attempting to use the passenger side seat belt, the seat belt would not latch to secure the contact. The failure was intermittent. Also, while driving at various speeds, the fuel cap warning indicator illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing, but the details of the diagnosis could not be provided. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 48,000.

The contact also stated that the bolt which mounted the driver side seat belt to the seat popped out when buckling the seat belt. The vehicle had not been inspected at the time of the complaint. The failure and current mileages were 680.
