I have Airbag failure. I had it diagnosed by a local mechanic. My Jeep had Airbag failure in the past and the repair was done by Jeep. Jeep refused to pay for it, although the same year of Wrangler was recalled for the Airbag failures. They returned my money almost 2 yrs later. The current Code is B1B02 (Clockspring). In addition to my Airbag light being on, due to failure (defect), my other gauges are not working properly (gasoline etc.) and the electronics will not work now (buttons on steering wheel for cruise control, radio, trip/mileage etc. Jeep dealerships in Illinois have repeatedly stolen parts off my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, as it is a "Special Edition" Black Ops package. I have also caught a Jeep technician draining my coolant, which he spilled all over my radiator, in an attempt to tell me I had a "leak" and all the coolant is gone. He tried to "bend" my waterpump (in front of me) and I demanded he return my keys & I left. I've run out of reputable dealerships to take my Jeep. PLEASE HELP! I have a disabled child who rides with me & I cannot be without Airbags. Since day of purchase, this Jeep has been riddled with KNOWN DEFECTS. The local mechanic told me there was a Recall. Jeep has not notified me of Recalls or ANY information in several years, as a result of my complaints to the Manufacturer's Administrators about the continuous theft and fraud by their dealerships and the defects in my Jeep.

Purchased 2011 sahara manual 2dr in 3/2016. On 2/24/2021 noticed smoke and burning smell coming from left front side as I was returning home from a doctor visit on local 4 lane 35 mph highway. Stopped at local Jeep dealer, ross Jeep, 2 blocks away and fire was visible from left front wheel. Was told fire due to brake "seized" causing fire to rotor/brake. 22,000 miles currently on Jeep. Have serviced regularly as recommended and garaged with no "off road" driving. Mechanic/dealer suggested new brakes and rotors on front of Jeep. Why with only 22,000 miles would I have a problem with brakes and what would cause this problem ? from reading other complaints I feel lucky to not have had a total loss of Jeep and my life due to fire. I had Jeep completely checked out prior to purchase along with checking for recalls and no issues surfaced.

There is a bad connection with the gears according to the transmission. It's slipping and delayed movement to the vehicle. From time to time, the vehicle will slow down or stop all of a sudden when driving or turning a corner. It's very dangerous especially if someone is on your butt.

The horn stopped working, to my knowledge since we never had to use it until11/8/18, the day we had to escape the camp fire. Maybe it never worked! is this a recalled issue? in motion city street.

I was driving 45 mph southbound on highway 101 in California. I started smelling a burning smell from under the hood. I was coming up to traffic and began to press the brake pedal and realized that I had very little brake pressure. I then switched lanes in preparation to get off the highway. As I got off the next exit with very little brake pressure, the smell got worse and smoke began to come out from under the engine bay. As soon as a I got off the next exit, I pulled into a parking lot and hand to use the hand brake to get the car to stop. I had no brake pressure left. As soon as I put the car in park, flames started coming out from under the engine bay. I grabbed what I could and exited the vehicle and called 911 requesting the fire department to put the fire out. The fire started under the left hand side of the engine bay. That is where the flames were seen visibly first. I have no aftermarket parts or mods outside of mopar (oem). Car has been maintained and service by putnam Jeep in burlingame. No offroad usage either.

Death wobble, dealerships are not telling buyers this may be a problem with their Jeep. I have developed this problem without knowing what it was and was a terrible experience. Will not drive it on the highway anymore and checked to have it fixed and they want $700! that is not right, especially if they are not sure it will fix it.
