they sell a 24,000 car with no spare.not told it was open
Hit a piece of metal in road about 10 pm in Orlando. Took out the sidewall. Went to get the spare and all that is in the trunk is a piece of Styrofoam to fill the space with a tire pump in the middle. Not a lot of help when you have no sidewall. Paid over 20,000 for this car and the tire shows up on amazon and ebay for about 190. Only option was to call a tow at 10:30 at night, wait forever and then have to miss a day of work to get the tire replaced. Also missing a day of work cost holiday pay since you have to work 8 hrs the day before and after the holiday. With the alignment they said it needed (probably not) and to match the tires it cost 263 dollars to the tire dealer and 8 hours of lost pay for Christmas eve but also for Christmas day holiday pay. So there is 500 dollars out the window. Thanks for saving a few bucks on a spare, not stating it on the features or lack of. So it was totally unknown until needed.
