Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

The back window of my 2005 Kia Optima just blew off my car, went airborn and hit the road shattering it in a zillion pieces. Their was a vehicle behind me and thank god it did not land in their windshield. The glass company was here to inspect and they said that the glass had been glued on top of the seal and wasn't installed correctly at all. That is why it flew off like it did. It is covered under warranty, but I can not go without my vehicle. They will not come to my house and install the window here, they insist they have to take it to their dealership. All I want is reimbursement of my cost of replacing the window which would be cheaper for them in the long run anyway.
