They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. The contact owns a 2008 Land Rover LR2. While driving 40 mph, the sun roof shattered. As a result, glass shards fell into the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 90,000.

After I did the recall about the sunroof, maybe a month after the recall when I try to use the sunroof, the parts just came out of the tracks and broke. I call Land Rover and they said is nothing they can do, I will have to pay from my own pocket, oh well now I have tape on my sunroof because something that Land Rover should fix. Please if somebody can help with this I really appreciate!! thank you!!

The contact owns a 2008 Land Rover LR2. The contact stated that while driving 40 mph, the guide rail of the sunroof became inoperable. In addition, the contact stated that the rubber sealant and the sun roof fractured. As a result, the contact was unable to close the sun roof. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The technician diagnosed that the sun roof needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact was aware of NHTSA campaign number: 08V055000 (visibility). The failure mileage was 96,000.
