Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

The fuel system of the 2015 Range rover sport does not allow the user to appropriately fill the gas tank with fuel without the pump shutting off after just every couple of gallons. There is no way to know that the tank is full without filling the tank to the point that gas spills out neck of the gas tank. The vehicle has been taken to the dealer twice for the problem. Land Rover acknowledged that there is a design flaw in the fuel tank and they have reproduced the problem ever time they have tested it. This is a major safety as well as environmental problem. The driver of the vehicle is not able to fill the tank without many resets of the pump and ultimately spilling fuel to know that the tank is full. I have taken this case to Land Rover corporate offices and they acknowledge the issue but said there is nothing that they can do about it at this time.
